About AnswerOrbit
AnswerOrbit is AI search analytics for brands and agencies. It shows how AI assistants describe a brand, how often they recommend it over its competitors, and which web pages shape their answers. Marketing teams use it to see where they stand and what to change so AI recommends them more often.
Background
We started AnswerOrbit because the way people choose is changing. They used to search and read a page of links. Now many of them ask an AI assistant and go with what it recommends.
Our founding team comes from AI, finance, high-frequency trading and analytics, with more than eight years each in work where every decision rests on measurement. In a market, one price tells you very little. You watch many of them, and you only call something a trend when the numbers say so.
AI answers work the same way. Ask the same question twice and you can get two different answers. So we ask every day, on every major AI platform, and we only tell you something changed when the evidence supports it.
Our vision
Search engines gave brands a whole generation of tools for understanding search. AI needs the same, and we're building it.
People now ask AI what to buy, and AI agents are starting to compare, book and buy for them. Wherever AI answers a question or acts for someone, a brand needs to know whether it's being chosen. AnswerOrbit is the place to measure that and improve it, and we add new AI assistants and agents as people start using them.
The AI platforms we track
Every plan tracks six AI platforms, every day:
- ChatGPT
- Perplexity
- Gemini
- Copilot
- Google AI Overviews
- Google AI Mode
Each one is asked the way a person in the brand's market would ask it, so the answers match what its customers see.
What we measure
- Visibility: how often AI answers name the brand
- Share of voice: the brand's share of the mentions of it and its competitors
- Position: where the brand comes in each answer's list of brands
- Citations: how often AI answers use the brand's own website
- Sentiment: whether answers talk about the brand positively, neutrally or negatively
- Claims: what the answers say about the brand, checked against facts the brand provides
Every number shows how many answers it's based on, and opens to the answers behind it. The full method is in How we count.
Our products
- AI visibility: how often AI names a brand, compared with its competitors
- Brand perception: what AI says about a brand, and the qualities it ties the brand to
- Recommendations: what to change next, ranked by the effect we expect
- Shopping: a brand's products in ChatGPT's shopping answers
- AI traffic: the visits AI sends a brand's site, and the AI crawlers that read it
- MCP and API: a brand's numbers in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and its own tools
Who uses AnswerOrbit
Marketing and SEO teams at brands, marketing and PR agencies, communications teams, ecommerce brands and local businesses. Agencies get their own plans, with reports under their own brand for each client, seats for their clients, and pitch workspaces for winning new ones.
What makes AnswerOrbit different
We measure AI the way markets are measured. A change is only flagged when it's bigger than the normal day-to-day movement in AI answers, so you act on what matters.
Every number leads back to the answers behind it. When a client or your boss asks where a number came from, you can show them.
Every plan includes all six AI platforms and the connection to AI assistants over MCP.
Our prices are published on our pricing page.
