Know what to change next.

Every week we turn your answers into a short list of changes. Each shows the answers behind it, and later whether it worked.

Recommendations, grouped by where the work is: your site, your pages and other sites, each with what to do, its topic, the answers behind it and its expected effect.
  • Why it matters: since 26 September your robots.txt tells PerplexityBot not to read any page, so 90 of Perplexity's 315 answers this week could use only other sites about you.

    Open your site to AI

When a bot AI uses is blocked, or your text is hidden from it.

  • Why it matters: a guide's page was used in 97 answers this week and named you until 22 September; it now names Ledgerfox and Brightledger.

Get onto the pages AI reads

The guides, directories and threads that name your competitors and not you.

  • A recommendation's details: suggested, highest expected effect, with an assignee and a due date to pick.

Assign it and set a date

Give a change to someone on your team and track it to done.

  • Its steps: remove the Disallow rule for PerplexityBot, and check the audit tomorrow.

    Steps you can follow

Each change comes with the steps to make it.

See whether it worked.

Two weeks after a change, we compare the answers that name you with the week before it.

Answers that name Your brand two weeks after the change, platform by platform: from 3 to 18 across six AI platforms.
  • Platform by platform

Where the change moved you, and where it didn't.

  • The same questions

Before and after, so the comparison is fair.

  • Your own changes too

Write your own recommendation and track it the same way.

Questions

  • What won't you recommend?

Fake or paid reviews, posts that hide who wrote them, bought links and paid placement. Every recommendation asks only for honest changes.

  • How are they ranked?

By expected effect: how many of this week's answers the change could reach.

  • How often do they change?

Every week, from that week's answers.

  • Do you make the changes for us?

No. We say what to change and why. You or your team make the change.

Start with the changes that matter most.
