Brand fidelity
Brand fidelity is how accurately AI answers describe your brand when they name it: your category, products, prices and what sets you apart.
Brand fidelity is how accurately AI answers describe your brand once they name it. Do they put you in the right category? Do they mention the products you sell today, or ones you dropped two years ago? Do they get your prices, your delivery areas and what makes you different right?
Being named is only half the job. An answer that names you and gets you wrong can send a customer elsewhere just as surely as one that leaves you out.
What it covers
Fidelity is wider than a single wrong fact. It includes:
- Category: are you described as what you are?
- Offer: are your current products and prices the ones mentioned?
- Differences: are your real strengths the ones the answer gives?
- Facts: are the details, like where you ship or how long delivery takes, correct?
For example, Harrow & Pine moved from flat-pack furniture to handmade solid oak three years ago. An answer that calls it "an affordable flat-pack brand" names it correctly and describes a company that no longer exists. Someone looking for handmade oak furniture moves on.
Why answers drift
The platforms learn about you from what's written about you, and a lot of that writing is old. Directory listings, old reviews and articles from before a relaunch stay online for years. The more of them there are, the longer the old version of you hangs on.
How to improve it
Find the pages behind the wrong descriptions, and get them updated. Say plainly on your own site what you are and what you sell. Keep your facts the same everywhere you're listed.

Claims checks what the answers say about you against your facts, and shows each claim as supported, contradicted or not covered, with the pages behind it. Your Accuracy is the supported claims out of the supported and contradicted together. Perception shows which qualities the platforms tie to you.
