Google Ads integration
A Google Ads integration brings the keywords you pay for in Google Ads into another tool, so you can compare paid search with AI visibility.
A Google Ads integration connects your Google Ads account to another tool so it can read your ads data, such as the keywords you bid on. In AI search tools, it's used to put your paid search next to how often AI platforms name you.
It helps answer a question that comes up as soon as AI answers start taking clicks: are we paying for searches where the AI answer already recommends us, or where it recommends a competitor?
Why compare paid search and AI answers
The keywords you bid on are a list of the searches you've decided are worth money. That makes them a good list to check against AI answers.
For example, say Kestrel Roasters bids heavily on searches for coffee subscriptions, and AI answers about coffee subscriptions name Kestrel 60% of the time. Kestrel also bids on searches for office coffee suppliers, where AI answers name it only 5% of the time. The first is a topic where AI answers already back up the ads. The second is a topic where Kestrel pays for clicks while AI answers send people elsewhere, so it might be worth working on its pages and coverage there.
What it doesn't tell you
An integration like this shows your side: what you bid on and what it costs. It doesn't show what happens inside the AI answers to people who saw your ad, or whether someone who read an AI answer then clicked your ad. Those journeys are hard to see in any tool.
In AnswerOrbit
Connect Google Ads under Connections in Settings, and we put the keywords you bid on next to your visibility on each topic. Separately, the Ads page shows which brands advertise next to ChatGPT's answers to your prompts.
