Agency mode

Agency mode is a way of running an AI search tool for many clients from one account, each with its own brands, prompts and reports.

Agency mode is a way of setting up an AI search tool for agencies and consultants who track several clients. Each client gets its own brands, prompts, competitors and reports, and you run all of them from one account.

If you look after more than a couple of brands, it saves you juggling logins, and it keeps one client's data away from another's.

What agencies need from it

Running clients is different from running your own brand. You need to:

  • Keep each client's numbers apart, so nobody sees another client's data
  • Decide how much tracking each client gets, and move it around as budgets change
  • Let clients sign in to see their own numbers, and nothing else
  • Send reports under your agency's name
  • Track a prospect for a short while before they sign, to win the work

For example, an agency with 600 prompts on its plan might give 300 to a coffee roaster, 200 to a furniture shop and keep 100 spare for a pitch. When the furniture shop's budget grows, it moves 50 prompts across.

There's no switch to flip. On an agency plan, each client gets its own brands, and your plan's prompts are an allowance you share between them. You can move prompts from one client to another, pause a client, and give someone at the client a seat that only shows their own brands. See Clients.

To win new work, start a pitch. It tracks a prospect on up to 10 prompts for seven days, without using your allowance, and you can share it with a link or a PDF. When they sign, turn the pitch into a client and keep everything it collected.

Each client also gets a monthly client report with your agency's name and logo. See Reports.
